It is only the 5th of May and the hops are really growing. We had a warm March and they started to poke up, but April was a bad month with several night dropping to below freezing temperatures and I was concerned that I might even lose some plants. This, however, was not the case, and growth again has started with the sunny weather in May. I took one good example of my Magnum hops. In March, this plant had reach about 6 inches, but as of May 5, it is around 4 feet high!
