As I mentioned in a previous post, I plan to build a control panel in preparation for an electric brewery. I was able to start this weekend. First I had to find an appropriate control panel. I decided to use an old mailbox I purchased on an online auction which cost me around $15.
Next I sanded the new control panel and then laid out the components on the box - marking the locations for each.
After marking each location, I drilled starter holes. where each of the buttons or switches should be mounted.
Lastly, I widened the holes using a step drill bit.
I still have some drilling and cutting to do before I paint it. Guess I still have a few weeks to go in this project. More info. to follow!
